Directed by Hari, Vishal and Shruti Haasan-starrer Poojai is progressing at a swift pace in Karaikudi. The team after camping in Coimbatore for a while is currently shooting scenes featuring Vishal and his family in the story. Even Shruti Haasan tweeted, “I absolutely love karaikudi!!!semma saapadu!hayyyyyo can’t able to take it! # love # food # goodenergy.”
The team will head to Bihar to shoot the climax portion soon. “We have almost completed 50% of the shoot. We are planning to shoot a part of the climax in Bihar. Our next schedule will probably to Bihar,” says a reliable source. The film will hit the screens on Diwali.

Expect Lakashmi Menon No One Else Would Have Done It - Vishal
Puratchi Thalapathy Vishal was full of praise for his Pandiyanadu and Naan Sigappu Manithan co-star Lakshmi Menon. In a recent media interaction the handsome hunk said no other actress would have agreed to say down in water for 8 hours for just a lip lock scene.
Vishal said Lakshmi Menon never once complained about getting drenched in rain for four consecutive days for the film shoot, Vishal concluded saying no matter what the discomfort was, the actress was a thorough professional and co-operated with the team for film's success. It's worth mentioning that Naan Sigappu Manithan was also produced under Vishal's home banner Vishal Film Factory.
