Ai team to release a video of Vikram’s lifestyle regimen !!!

Vikram's weight gain and loss for his upcoming film with director Shankar, titled Ai, has been the topic of interest for those in the film industry for quite some time. Now, reliable sources say that the unit is to release a video made using shots that were filmed during Vikram's weight gain and loss programme for the film.
This video, they say, will be used by the team to spearhead the film's promotional campaign. If one is to go by what sources say, Vikram had to weigh just 50kg for scenes in the first half and around 110kg for those in the second.
A source close to the film unit says, "A beefed-up Vikram will be seen in the second half of the film. There are no graphics involved. To prove this point, the team has decided to showcase his hardwork. So, they filmed every move of Vikram's weight loss and gain programme. They are now planning to use these shots and release it in the form of a video in which Vikram will be seen sweating it out in the gym. The video will also give details of his diet plan and his lifestyle during the period he worked out. This video, which will be released a month before the film hits screens, will be the main promotional strategy.

Will Shankar accept Ilayathalapathy Vijay's request?

Ilayathalapathy Vijay and blockbuster director Shankar have already associated on the successful Nanban in 2012. Though the movie was far-removed from Shankar's usual template of hero-centric films, Nanban was a good change for Vijay and the movie was lapped up by his fans and the family audiences.

Yesterday at an awards function, which was graced by both these personalities, Vijay put forward a request to Shankar that they should work together again in the director's typical 'larger than life' template. He capped his request with his famous 'I am waiting' punchline.

Though he was supposed to work in the director's path-breaking Mudhalvan but later missed the film, Vijay feels that Indian is his favorite Shankar movie.

Shankar's Ai is finally ready !!!

The music of the Vikram - Amy Jackson starrer Ai, director Shankar's magnum-opus post Enthiran, is all set to enthrall the audience soon. AR Rahman has delivered the final master copy, and is excited to know about the audience' reactions.

The ace musician, in his official twitter page, tweeted, "Master for 'I' (Ai) delivered finally... All of us are looking forward to your reactions to the songs soon :-)" 
There is a high probability that Ai's audio launch would happen soon. Sony Music South holds the music rights of Ai and the songs are expected to be rousing hits.

Rajini recommends Ajith to Shankar for Enthiran 2 !!!

Reports say that superstar Rajinikanth has recommended AjithKumar’s name to Shankarto be cast in Enthiran II, the planned sequel by Shankar and Rajinikanth after their super-successful Enthiran: The Robot which sent cash registers ringing in theatres all over the globe where it was screened. The sequel is said to be planned to be made at an all-time high expense of Rs.200 crores. Shankar, who had prepared the script and screenplay of the sequel, is said to have shown the same to Rajini during the on-going shoot of Lingaa and got his consent to star in it. However, Rajini’s doctors say that Rajini should be extremely careful and avoid ‘high-risk’ action sequences and extremely hard-work. Rajini would be completing the shoot of Lingaa by August and it was expected that he and Shankar would commence the shoot of Enthiran II long before the year 2014 draws to a close.

Shankar Unhappy With Ai,, Film Postponed Further

Fans the latest update on Shankar's magnum opus Ai is rather a disappointing one as the film looks to be postponed even more. Sources report that the ace director is unhappy with end result of the VFX works and has hence ordered the VFX works to be restarted from the scratch. Sources also report that A.R.Rahman has also asked for extra time to deliver background score.

Shankar who is pure perfectionist doesn't mind the delay but wants the film final product to be in par with International standards. Director Shankar is expected to make a announcement on the film's final release date and the date of audio launch by June end.

Chiyaan's Ai Postponed By Two Months !!!

Fans here is a disappointing update on Shankar's magnum opus Ai, The music launch of Chiyaan Vikram's Ai was expected to happen in May has been postponed by couple of months. Sony Music India are reportedly yet to receive the audio master from A.R.Rahman.

Sources add ARR is working around the clock to complete the audio for the film. The film stars Chiyaan, Amy Jackson and Upen Patel. The legendary PC Sreeram cinematography will be a huge highlight of the film.

Director Shankar's Connection In Vijay 58!

Vijay 58 is already shaping up to be the biggest movie of Ilayathalapathy's career, Directed by Chimbu Devan the film will feature Naan E fame Sudeep, the legendary Sri Devi, the names of Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Shruti Haasan and A.R.Rahman are also linked up.

Now the latest is that art director T.Muthuraj who has worked in numerous Shankar films like Anniyan, Nanban and the much anticipated Ai has been signed up for this fantasy film. 

Shankar Goes Grand Without Chiyaan Vikram !!!

Shankar's epic movie Ai is finally nearing completion, The makers will wrap the complete shoot with just one pending song which interestingly won't feature the movie's lead hero Chiyaan Vikram. The song is reported to be featuring Amy Jackson and Upen Patel who plays the antagonist role in the film.

A source close to the unit says, "A huge set designed like a sliced lemon at a cost of about 2 crore has been erected in a studio in the city. The team has been working on this set for more than a month. Amy will shoot for this song this week for about six days. The song will not feature Vikram but just Amy and Upen Patel. This is the only song pending in the film and with this shoot, the Ai crew will pack up."

Director Shankar’s regular for 'Vijay 58' !!!

Director Chimbudeven’s Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanigalum was met with good critical response where the director had taken a different theme, time concept, to narrate his story. After this film, Chimbudeven is all set to direct Ilayathalapathy Vijay in a project that is said to belong to a fantasy genre.

Naan Ee Sudeep is on board this film while the involvement of Sridevi, Deepika Padukone and Shruti Haasan are widely speculated. Meanwhile, an important technician has been confirmed in 'Vijay 58' which is art director T. Muthuraj who is a regular with Shankar’s films like Nanban and Ai to his credit.

The Realease Date Of Vishwaroopa 2 & Vikram's Aii ?????

Fans we are finally close to having the release date of two of the biggest movies in Kollywood history, Shankar's Ai with Chiyaan Vikram and Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam 2. Reliable sources report that A.R.Rahman has already handed over the master copy to Sony Music and the audio launch of Ai will happen in the second or third week of May in Canada with Arnold Schwarzenegger playing host.

The movie is itself expected to be June release while Vishwaroopam 2 which is also produced by Aascar V Ravichandran will release after a month's gap in July.

Shankar's Ai Without Chiyan Vikram????

 If buzz going in K'town is to be believed then the intro song of Shankar's magnum opus Ai will not feature Chiyaan Vikram but will instead have Amy Jackson and the antagonist Upen Patel. Sources add the song will be about the modeling culture both Amy and Upen play international models in the film.

Grand sets of the song have already been erected in Chennai and the shoot will commence on 25th April. With this song the complete shoot schedule of Ai will finally be completed, Chiyaan has already completed dubbing his portion in the film.
