A legendary senior actor to join 'Vijay 58'?

The cast of 'Vijay 58', which is to be helmed by director Chimbudevan seems to be getting bigger and bigger. The latest we hear is that 'Ilaya Thilagam' Prabhu is set to be approached for a role in the film. If he indeed accepts to be a part of the film, then the already glittering cast list of Vijay, Sridevi, Shruti Haasan, Hansika and Sudeep would look even more wondrous.

With music by Devi Sri Prasad, camera work by Natty, editing by Sreekar Prasad and art work by Muthuraj, 'Vijay 58' would go on floors as soon as Ilayathalapathy completes work on Kaththi.

Shruti Haasan is a talented artist who dabbles successfully across various film industries. She was last seen in Tamil in 7aum Arivu and 3, and is currently working in Hari’s Poojai with Vishal.
In Telugu, Shruti is considered a lucky mascot after having delivered hit after hit, in the form of Gabbar Singh, Balupu and the recent Race Gurram.

It is also known that she is a talented musician. When asked about her favorite music composer, she immediately admits that she likes the work of Anirudh Ravichander. It is to be noted that Anirudh’s first film as music composer was 3 in which Shruti was featured alongside Dhanush.

'Vijay 58' - from pre-production till release !!!

We have the latest round of updates from Vijay's next film with director Chimbudevan, to be produced by Shibu Thameens and P.T.Selvakumar. The film has been christened as 'Vijay 58' for now by fans.

The scripting is now in the final stages and the team has also started scouting locations in Chennai. As reported earlier, the main casting has been done and the selection of the supporting cast members is yet to start. The team wishes to finalize the technical aspects of the movie and the locations, before completing the casting process.

As of now, the lead cast which has been confirmed is Vijay, Sridevi, Sudeep, Shruti Haasan and Hansika. The technicians who have been confirmed are Natty as the DoP, Devi Sri Prasad as the music composer and Muthuraj as the art director. The editor, dance choreographers and stunt masters for the film are yet to be finalized.
Regarding the release of the movie, the team intends to present it as a 2015-summer offering.

Poojai climax in Bihar !!!

Directed by Hari, Vishal and Shruti Haasan-starrer Poojai is progressing at a swift pace in Karaikudi. The team after camping in Coimbatore for a while is currently shooting scenes featuring Vishal and his family in the story. Even Shruti Haasan tweeted, “I absolutely love karaikudi!!!semma saapadu!hayyyyyo can’t able to take it! # love # food # goodenergy.” The team will head to Bihar to shoot the climax portion soon. “We have almost completed 50% of the shoot. We are planning to shoot a part of the climax in Bihar. Our next schedule will probably to Bihar,” says a reliable source. The film will hit the screens on Diwali.

Fans it's a known fact that Ilayathalapathy plays a dual role in Kaththi, If reports are true Vijay could don dual roles yet again in Vijay 58 with Chimbu Devan.

According to the buzz that's going around Ilayathalapathy plays dual role in the film which would see him enacting the role of a 50 Year Old Father and Young 20 Year old son. Sources add elder Vijay will have Sri Devi has the female lead while Shurti Haasan pairs up with other Vijay. Hansika Motwani along with Sudeep of Naan E fame also play crucial roles in the film. There is no official confirmation on these reports.

The Two Heroine In Vijay 58 Are???

The latest buzz on Vijay 58 Directed by Chimbu Devan is that the film apart from featuring Sri Devi and Sudeep will star Hansika and Shruti Haasan in female leads. Though initial reports had it that A.R.Rahman might compose for this film, Reliable sources have reported that Devi Sri Prasad will score for this Vijay starrer after Sachein.

As of now, the technical crew for Vijay 58 consists of Cinematographer Natraj a.k.a Natty, Art Director Muthuraj and Music Director Devi Sri Prasad.

Even though Vijay is currently focusing on Kaththi, directed by Murugadoss with Samantha for company, news about his next film to be directed by Chimbudevan (Vijay 58) is already doing the rounds every other day.

 

Some really heavyweight names were touted to be part of the film's cast, without any confirmation. Deepika Padukone & Shruti Hassan For Vijay's Next ???

If reports are to be believed, Shruti Haasan and Deepika Padukone have been finalized as the female leads for Vijay 58. Ilayathalapathy Vijay who is currently shooting for A.R.Murugadoss's Kaththi will move over to Vijay 58 with Chimbudevan from October, This fantasy film is already shaping up to be the biggest movie of Vijay's career.

Naan E Sudeep has already confirmed his presence in the movie after being paid a record breaking salary of 7 crores making him the highest paid Kannada actor. Timeless beauty Sridevi has also confirmed her presence in the film. Sources add the Mozart of Madras A.R.Rahman will compose music for this magnum opus. The movie is produced by Vijay's long time Manager P.T.Selvakumar.
