Kochadaiiyaan crosses the mark quietly !!!

It’s been 50 days since the monstrous release of Kochadaiiyaan, India’s first ever photorealistic Motion Capture film, starring Superstar Rajinikanth and Deepika Padukone. The film, directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin, is still running in a number of theaters in Tamil Nadu.

As far as Chennai, the film is being screened at Baby Albert, Robot Bala Abirami, PVR Multiplex, Studio 5 and few other theaters.

Also starring Sarath Kumar, Shobana, Rukmini Vijaykumar, Jackie Shroff, Aadhi and Nasser, the film is an AR Rahman musical, produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment Limited.

We wish the team well and hope to see more such new attempts in the future.

A.R.Rahaman Responsible For This Film's Delay ???

Director Vasanthabalan who delivered a absolute gem in Angadi Theru is currently working on Kaaviya Thalaivan which features Siddharth, Prithivi Raj, Vedhika and Anaika Soti. If reports are to be believed our Mozart of Madras A.R.Rahman is the reason for this film's delay.

Sources add that the makers originally intended for the film to be a summer release but A.R.R wanted to deliver the best songs for this film and hence took some extra time and hence the delay.  A blockbuster of an album can be expected from A.R.R in Kaaviya Thalaivaan.

Urvasi Urvasi Goes Hollywood !!!

A.R.Rahman along with Black Eyed Peas lead rapper Will.i.am have recreated his popular track from the 90's Urvasi Urvasi from Kadhalan. A.R.R recently used Thirakkadha Kaatukulle from En Swaasa Kaatre in end credits of his latest Hollywood film Million Dollar Arm.

The Mozart of Madras had this say on the upcoming track "Excited to creatively partner with will.i.am to recreate an early popular track of mine in a new flavor".

A.R.Rahaman Talks About His Favourite Composer , Working With Hans Zimmer And His First Love !!!

Our Oscar Hero A.R.Rahman participated in a Q&A session with his numerous fans from America for Reddit. Here are some of the best excerpts from the interview 

Vanakkam ARR! I'm a huge fan of your work especially with Mani Ratnam. Could you describe what was it like in the early 90s when you started composing a few jingles for advertisement companies and eventually, Roja?

I think that's the most fascinating time, when you discover things which are so new to you but most the exciting time of your life. I would say it is almost like first love.

Avid fan here. Just one question...

Which of the contemporary music directors' works do you enjoy?

There are many now, actually. I do like some of Preetam Mithun's work, and a new composer named Santhosh Narayanan.

Chiyaan's Ai Postponed By Two Months !!!

Fans here is a disappointing update on Shankar's magnum opus Ai, The music launch of Chiyaan Vikram's Ai was expected to happen in May has been postponed by couple of months. Sony Music India are reportedly yet to receive the audio master from A.R.Rahman.

Sources add ARR is working around the clock to complete the audio for the film. The film stars Chiyaan, Amy Jackson and Upen Patel. The legendary PC Sreeram cinematography will be a huge highlight of the film.

Not One, But Its Two Superstars In Rajini's Next !!!

Fans the Superstar- K.S Ravikumar flick is kicking off sooner than anticipated. According to reliable sources the movie will kick off in Mysore from the 3rd of May. The director K.S Ravikumar officially announced that the film has been tiltedLingaa (Possibly taken for Superstar's grandson name Linga) and will feature Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka Shetty and music by A.R.Rahman.

Kaththi is not sure of making it..

After wrapping up work in Hyderabad on a song sequence featuring Vijay and Samantha, the Kaththi team has returned to Chennai and will resume shoots from 7th April onwards. The Chennai schedule will carry on for a month.We hear that about 25 to 30% of the film has been canned till now. Regarding rumours that the team might release a first look / teaser around Tamil New Year's day, it seems it is too early to be thinking along those lines as quite a lot of work needs to be done. So, there is an uncertainty surrounding the first look / teaser.

But, the film is all set to release for Diwali 2014. Stay tuned for more on Kaththi.

A 90-seconds teaser of Chiyaan Vikram and Shankar's magnum opus Ai was showed to few of the media persons and film fraternity yesterday, The lucky persons who saw the teaser just couldn't stop raving about the mindblowing teaser. They were absolutely blown away by the effort put in by the team. Chiyaan Vikram's look, Shankar's concept and breathtaking visuals have all left them awestruck.

According to reliable sources, The First look of Ai will be unveiled by an International star after the election and its results, The audio launch is also expected to be a grand event matching the likes of Endhiran and Dasavatharam.
