Dhanush starrer Velaiyilla Pattathari took a massive opening yesterday all across the globe. The collections in all the centres have been satisfactory for the producers, say sources in the trade. We hear that in Chennai city alone the movie has grossed around 96 lakhs for the first day. All the theatres in the city had 100 percent occupancy as predicted and the film is well on its way to being declared a smash hit! VIP, directed by Velraj, stars Dhanush, Amala Paul, Saranya, Samuthirakani, Vivek and others. Anirudh has scored the music for this movie.
