The Third Schedule Of Suriya's Anjaan Is Happening In Mumbai, The Shooting Came To To An Premature end Yesterday, March 30th 2014, When a handful of protestors attempted to disrupt the shooting which forced the makers to pack up and leave in order to avoid a clash.

This group was protesting against the screening of Inam. It may be mentioned here that Inam was directed by Santosh Sivan, who is the cinematographer for Anjaan and was distributed by the film’s director Lingusamy through his banner Tirupathi Brothers. It's worth mentioning that Lingusamy later sent out a Press Release Stating The Movie Inam Will No Longer Be Screened In Theatres.

Gautham Menon Says Thats Not True About Thala 55....

With every passing day, the buzz and rumors about Thala 55 seem to rise more and more. A couple of days ago a section of media reported that Director Gautham Menon will himself be acting in an important role in Thala 55.

The director however in an Interview to a leading daily thrashed those rumors citing he is not acting in the film and it's too early to talk about the film. There is also another buzz going around that Anushka & Amy Jackson will play the female leads in this Thala starrer.

Siva Karthikeyan, Vishal & Vadivelu to come based on a deal

To enjoy a good opening for their films, the makers of Maan Karate, Naan Sigappu Manithan and Tenaliraman have come to a deal.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Kaththi, directed by A.R.Murugadoss and featuring the sensational Anirudh's music, is gearing up for a possible Diwali release. Samantha and Neil Nitin Mukesh are the other leading stars in this Lyca Productions venture.

2 songs from the movie have already been shot in Chennai's airport and in Hyderabad. There are a total of 5 songs and a rocking theme track in the film. Anirudh and Aadhi have lent their vocals for Vijay's intro number in the film, which promises to be a never-seen-before experience.

Now to the all important question on whether Thalapathy is singing in the album, the answer is a firm Yes. This one is surely going to send Vijay fans into a frenzy.

Vijay's First Look Of Kaththi From April 14th,

Director AR Murugadoss had sent Vijay fans into a tizzy after announcing the short and to-the-point title Kaththi. To cash in on the upbeat mood, word is that the team is working towards revealing the first look of the film in a couple of weeks, specifically on April 14^th.

One may recall that Thuppakki’s first look too was released in the month of April in 2012 with the film coming out for Deepavali the same year. This is likely to be the plan of action for Kaththi too.

With reports suggesting that Vijay will be appearing in a double role, it will be mighty interesting to see how much the first look poster will reveal along with the title design. Meanwhile, the team including heroine Samantha are chipping away in Hyderabad at the moment.

''Thuppakki's fans will enjoy Kaththi too''

Director A.R.Murugadoss had updated yesterday that the title of his current Vijay - Samantha film is Kaththi. Ever since this announcement, it has been the trending topic in Twitter and Facebook among Vijay fans and other film buffs. The Kaththi team must be thrilled with this buzz and hype and they are currently in Hyderabad shooting for a song on the lead pair.

Murugadoss has gone on to add that Kaththi will have all the commercial elements in the right mix and importantly an exciting screenplay. "Those who enjoyed Thuppakki will definitely have fun watching Kaththi", is the director's strong belief.

Kaththi is set for a Diwali 2014 release.

In a breaking news update, the director of Vijay's upcoming movie, A.R.Murugadoss has updated that the title of his movie is Kaththi. Earlier, it was rumored that the film has been tentatively titled Dheeran but now such speculations have been cleared with this major announcement.

Samantha is Vijay's co-star in the movie and the team is currently shooting in Hyderabad in searing heat. Lyca Productions are funding this mega budget movie, which has Anirudh's music and George Williams behind the camera.

Who gets to be Shiva and Shakthi in Jilla Telugu?

The director of Vijay's Pongal release Jilla, R.T.Neason is a happy man as the film is seemingly a profitable venture for the producers, Super Good Films. Jilla is still running in a couple of Chennai theaters and today is the 75th day since its release on January 10th.

The director plans to make Jilla in Telugu too, in about 6 months' time for Super Good Films again. Now, coming to the stars who would take Vijay and Mohanlal's place, it looks like Junior NTR and Balakrishna would be the chosen ones. On paper, it looks like a really good casting decision.

We also hear that Vijay and his close ones are really happy with the reception that the superstar has received for Jilla, and Neason was apparently gifted 5 lakhs in cash by the Ilayathalapathy, for his efforts towards making Jilla a successful affair.

Exclusive: Four different looks for Dhanush (VIP)

Dhanush is acting in K.V Anand's Anegan, that will have Amyra Dastur as the female lead. We now have some interesting information about the film.

We hear that Dhanush will have four different makeovers in the movie. He will play the role of a person set in the 1980's backdrop. He will also appear in the look of a Burmese and of course his current look. It is said that his makeover in the first look posters that was released a month ago, is that of the Burmese. We are still investigating on the fourth look and shall update you soon.

The team is currently shooting a few fight and song sequences in locations around Burma and Malaysia and are expected to be back on the first week of April. About 70 percent of the shoot has been completed and the movie thus far looks promising, we hear.

Anegan will have music composed by Harris Jayaraj and Karthik apparently plays the role of the antagonist in the film.

“Anything for Ai”- Vikram's Upcoming Movie Directed By Shankar

“Every actor would want to do a film like Ai. But it’s a difficult role to handle,” began director Shankar, in a recent interview to a magazine about his upcoming mega budget entertainer, produced by Aascar Films. “Ai will have everything people expect from me. But, I assure you, this will be nothing like my earlier movies,” adds the director.

Starring Vikram, Amy Jackson, Suresh Gopi, Upen Patel, Ramkumar Ganesan and Santhanam in the central roles, Ai has music by AR Rahman and cinematography by PC Sreeram. As informed earlier, Vikram will carry multiple looks in the movie.

Updates about the upcoming Ajith - Gautham Menon film are hard to come by as there is a big veil of secrecy around this much-expected film, produced by A.M.Rathnam. We have anyway come up with the latest buzz on 'Thala 55'.

We hear that the shoots of the film will begin in a week's time in Chennai and this first schedule set in Chennai, will last for about 15 to 20 days. There hasn't been anything official about this film till date, but we also hear that the movie features another popular Tamil actor whose involvement will come as an unexpected yet pleasant shock for the Tamil audiences.

'Thala 55' is likely to have Anushka as the female lead while Harris Jayaraj is set to don the music composer's hat. More updates about the film's title and the other cast,crew details are awaited.

Well, fans here is an epic buzz which is currently circulating in K'Wood, Superstar Rajinikanth might feature in a cameo for Kamal Haasan's Uthama Villain. According to the Buzz Kamal Haasan wanted his good friend Rajini to do a special appearance in the film and the latter has apparently given the nod.

Sources add that there is a video conferencing scene in the film in which Rajini will make an appearance. However, there is no official Confirmation on the same.

Uthama Villain features Kamal Haasan in dual roles - as an 8th century drama actor named Uthaman and a 21st century film star called Manoranjan. The film also hasVishwaroopam girls Andrea Jeremiah and Pooja Kumar in important roles. Parvathy Menon of Mariyaan fame will also appear in a pivotal role.

Vikram’s next Idam Maari Irangiyavan with Vijay Milton !!!

Vikram will soon be done with Shankar’s Ai and the next big question is “What is his next film”. It was told that he may team up with his Dhool director Dharani for a film called Rascal but no official word is out on this.
Meanwhile there are also talks that the Kasi hero will work with cinematographer turned director Vijay Milton for his next. Apparently the film is titled Idam Maari Irangiyavan that will be produced by A R Murugadoss Productions with Fox Star Studios.

It has come to our notice that Vikram has been approached for this but official word is awaited on this. It is also said that a detailed announcement on Vijay Milton’s next is likely to happen on the 75th day celebration of Goli Soda to be held at Abirami Theatres. Please stay tuned!

Certain section of media reported that Kannada Producers Association protested against the film's shoot and this was the reason why the team shifted base to Chennai. Anirudh Ravichander, the young maestro is currently the hottest property in Kollywood after delivering yet another smashing album in Maan Karate. The young music director's next album is Vijay 57 which features Vijay, Samantha and Neil Nitin Mukesh from Bollywood.

Director A.R.Murugadoss revealed few intresting tit-bits on what he wanted Anirudh to do for Vijay 57 at the music launch of Maan Karate, "When i met Anirudh for Vijay 57, I laid down one condition to him, which was to incorporate all the fresh ideas for compositions for Vijay 57 album, Whatever idea popped up to him even during of other movie compositions i told him to keep it secret and use it for Vijay 57 instead, But after listening to Maan Karate audio i feel he has done everything i liked in this album too and i want him to even better this album for Vijay 57".

ilayaraja in 25 Greatest Film Composer in Cinema History

One of well established movie portals Taste of Cinema have just published the 25 Greatest Film Composers in Cinema History. According to the portal, Ilayaraja made into the top 10 of the list and was featured at number 9 while Hans Zimmer one of the world's most popular music composer was ranked at number 13.

Ilaiyaraaja has worked as a composer for more than 950 films and has composed over 4500 songs in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and English. The website has mentioned that "the maestro is particularly acclaimed for background score and his songs and background score played a very crucial role in the success of many films".

In Suriya's Upcoming Movie Anjaan 30 out of 500 cars Where Destroyed !!!

We have some interesting updates about Suriya's Anjaan, which happens to be one of the most anticipated movies this year. The film directed by Lingusamy, promises to have some high-octane stunt sequences, choreographed by the renowned Silva Master.

The pre-interval stunt sequence was recently shot in Mumbai for a period of 10 days in the grand backdrop of 500 cars. 30 cars were in fact destroyed during the stunt sequence. The stunts would brim with emotions and would do justice to the script, we hear.

There are three stunt blocks totally in Anjaan and all the leading scenes to these stunts, would be powerful. In the next schedule, the all-important climax fights would be canned.

Anjaan is more than 70% complete already and it would be completed in the following one and a half months. The film gears up for a release on August 15, 2014.

Producers Council President Says Both Are Sucessful Movies of 2014

Producer Council's President Keyar who openly called Jilla and Veeram as big flops has now revealed that there were only two films till date in year 2014 which have been successful.

Keyar who earlier said Goli Soda was the first profitable movie of the year 2014 revealed recently that Thegidi is the second successful movie of the year. Keyar also added that the second week collections of Thegidi is better than first week and this is something very rare in today's cinema.

Keyar also said the reason for Thegidi's success was the positive word of mouth from the general public and small and smart films were the order of the day.

According to this, Kamal Haasan plays two characters Uthaman, an 8^thcentury drama actor and Manoranjan a 21^st century film superstar.

Simbu is one actor who is always known to speak his mind. He has been involved in some controversies too, due to his bold and daring image. Even recently, the handsome young star made a big splash in the media for the way he announced his break-up with actress Hansika.

A few days back, on a prominent chat show in a private television channel, Simbu was again at it and had some really interesting and forthright comments to make about his life and career.

"Of late I am not liking the process of doing films. I wish to do something beyond cinema. When I was young, I wanted to grow into a huge star like Rajini Sir and intended to do a lot of films. But now that I have crossed 30, life seems different and my goals have changed. I don't wish to become a superstar anymore. I am not interested in competition and jealousy. The success or failure of my films won't impact me anymore.

Cinema is just a boundary and I don't wish to be restricted by that. Doing something for the world at large is what interests me now.

I am not liking money too nowadays. Due to money, people are losing their humanity and their inherent goodness. Jealousy has also increased due to money and the society is deteriorating. There shouldn't be any money in this world."

Vadivelu's Upcoming Movies !!!

Vadivelu is making a rightful comeback to the industry after a big hiatus with the period comedy flick, Jagajala Pujabala Thenaliraman (JPT), produced by AGS Entertainment and directed by Yuvaraj Dhayalan. Imman has scored music for this flick which can be expected to hit the screens in summer.

The interesting fact about JPT is that the movie involves extensive CGI (computer generated imagery) work for about 1 hour and 45 minutes of the movie's running time. Initially the team didn't plan for something this extravagant but gradually, the movie's content warranted such an elaborate presence of CGI. White Lotus is working on the CGI and they are making sure that the visual output is as authentic and pleasing as possible..

Vijay 57's fourth schedule began yesterday in Begumpet near Hyderabad, Shoots will continue till the month-end in Hyderabad.
